Buddha wishes you luck on your pedi

Getting pedicures with my mother and grandmother at the Hawaiian Nail Bar. (It's heaven- they offer free pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris.)

I'm not a chef but...

Look! I helped prepare a meal that wasn't pasta! Don't worry, hell isn't freezing over.
The scary part? It was kind of delicious.

Recipes for the above can be found below:
Lemon-Butter Green Beans (substitute greenbeans for snow peas)

Also above is our choice of wine for the evening. KungFu Girl- a sweet Riesling that we found at Whole Foods.

Sweet and Sour

Sunspots and reflections

Found around Auburn

Incredulous

We take a break from your regularly scheduled aesthetically-pleasing picture viewing to bring you pictures of ridiculously over-sized frat houses in Auburn. Can you imagine going to a party here?
(UTD doesn't have frat houses... so these seemed particularly intimidating.)

Random acts of nature

Things that caught my eye in AL.

Cloud-spotting

Little known fact about me: I am a proud member of the International Cloud Society. I have a t-shirt and everything. It's based out of England. Katie found the official cloud-spotting guide book while she was there over winter break. Being the awesome friend that she is, she bought it for me.
I now have a new excuse to take pictures of clouds. Sweet.
