Spring fell on a Thursday this year

Above: The magnolias on campus are starting to bloom.
Below: These pictures are from the same flower bed that I took pictures of a few weeks ago. Spring is short in Texas.

Vapid reflections

Sometimes I decided to dress cute. When this happens, I always want a picture as proof but am too shy to ask someone to take a picture of me and there is no way in hell I'm doing myspace-style picture. So yesterday I decided to take the picture myself.

I fell in love...

This puppy is 3/4 huskie and 1/4 golden retriever.
So. Friggin. Cute.

It's bouncy too.

Above: My coworker tests out the slide for the Sophomore-rising program. You know, just to make sure it's safe.

I can see the end

My semester is coming to a close, and I had a guitar concert last night. Guitar is not my instrument I think.

Fleurs- bleu

Apparently blue flowers were not popular this year at the arboretum.
Also the picture below you might recognize from my title collage- only the one in the collage is flipped. :)

Hi there!

I found this bug on my balcony.
This picture would be totally awesome and sharply in-focus if:
a) the bug would have stopped moving around
and
b) I wasn't terrified of bugs. I tried to find out what kind of bug this was but wound up scaring myself with internet bug and spider pictures. Ick. I have a strong urge to scrub my entire apartment.

Watching the storm go by

It has looked like this for 5 days straight...
Oh, and the picture directly below isn't blurry. It actually looked like that. Sana pointed out that it looked like dementors were coming- and it did.

Keep your eyes open

Above: I get a kick out of seeing my initals/name in random places.

Scenes from around White Rock

Tree shots

I don't know why I love looking at trees from this angle. It makes me feel like an ant.
